Sri Lanka sells USD165.25mn of one and two year development bonds

The issue of Sri Lanka development bonds amounting to 50 million US dollars have been oversubscribed with 172.50 million US dollars of bids received from investors.

The central bank has accepted 110 million US dollars of one year and three months bonds at a floating rate of weighted average margin over six month LIBOR of 342.99 basis points.

The bond auction held during 21st to 27th July has received bids amounting to 59.25 million US dollars for two year bonds and accepted the same at a floating rate of 365.36 basis points.
