Sri Lanka stocks lower at close of trade; CSE All-Share down 0.15%




Sri Lanka stocks were lower after the close on Monday, as losses in the Construction & Engineering, Services and Trading sectors led shares lower.
At the close in Colombo, the CSE All-Share fell 0.15%.


 The best performers of the session on the CSE All-Share were Horana Plantations PLC (CM:HOPL), which rose 12.65% or 3.20 points to trade at 28.50 at the close. Meanwhile, Hunas Falls Hotels PLC (CM:HUNA) added 12.36% or 5.60 points to end at 50.90 and On’ally Holdings PLC (CM:ONAL) was up 8.43% or 3.80 points to 48.90 in late trade.


The worst performers of the session were Standard Capital PLC (CM:SING), which fell 16.47% or 9.90 points to trade at 50.20 at the close. Amana Takaful PLC (CM:ATL) declined 12.50% or 0.100 points to end at 0.700 and Serendib Land PLC (CM:SLND) was down 11.93% or 176.70 points to 1305.00.



Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Colombo Stock Exchange by 101 to 71 and 64 ended unchanged.
Shares in Standard Capital PLC (CM:SING) fell to 3-years lows; down 16.47% or 9.90 to 50.20.

GBP/LKR was up 0.37% to 203.910, while USD/LKR rose 0.10% to 153.820.
